Our story
A place for plants and the people who love them.
Plant People Collective started where most good things do: a house full of plants, a marketplace inbox full of new friends, and a hunch that the room could be bigger.
The plant people part.
We collect plants the way other people collect records. Monsteras with attitude, Hoyas that never quit, a Calathea or two that test our patience and our humidity. Plants we propagate. Plants we trade. Plants we send home with someone new every weekend.
The collective part.
Plants are the easy part. The community is the point. We started running pop-up plant bingo nights at breweries because we wanted somewhere to gather plant people who don't yet know each other. We added classes for the folks who are just starting. We sell goods so we can keep doing both.
The vibe.
No gatekeeping. No plant-shaming. The pothos can be cool. The Calathea can be a diva. Everyone gets a sticker.
What we believe
Plants are an excuse to gather.
The hobby is great. The community around it is greater. We build for both.
